Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Plannli mobile app, web app and Chrome extension, provided by Ruth Johnson, trading as “Plannli” (“we”). By creating an account or using Plannli, you agree to these terms.

The service

Plannli helps you plan projects, set budgets and save products from retailers into projects and shopping plans, across the app, web and browser extension using one account.

When our contract starts

Your contract with us starts when you create a Plannli account. If you purchase Plannli Pro, the paid subscription contract starts when your purchase is confirmed by the relevant app store or web payment provider, and we (or the platform) will confirm it to you in a durable form such as email.

Your account

• You’re responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account.
• You must provide accurate information and be old enough to form a binding contract (at least 16).

Acceptable use

Don’t misuse Plannli — for example by attempting to access other users’ data, disrupting the service, scraping at scale, or using it unlawfully. The extension may only be used to save products from pages you are viewing, for your own planning.

Your content

You keep ownership of the projects, items, notes and photos you add. You grant us the limited licence needed to store and display that content to you and sync it across your devices. This licence lasts only for as long as your content remains stored in Plannli, subject to temporary retention in backups as described in our Privacy Policy. You’re responsible for the content you add and for having the right to add it. Where you save third-party product information or image links, you authorise us to process and display that information solely to provide Plannli’s features.

Product information and prices

Product details the extension detects, and prices Plannli records, come from third-party retailer pages and may be inaccurate, out of date or incomplete. Always check the retailer before purchasing. Plannli is a planning tool and is not the seller of any product.

Retailer websites are third-party services. Any purchase is made directly between you and the retailer and is subject to that retailer’s prices, availability, delivery terms, returns policy and privacy practices. We are not responsible for a retailer’s website, products or fulfilment.

Retailer content and trademarks

Plannli is not affiliated with or endorsed by the retailers whose products may appear in the service, unless expressly stated. Retailer names, product information, images and trademarks belong to their respective owners. You must not use Plannli to copy, publish or distribute third-party content in a way that infringes intellectual-property rights.

Affiliate links

Some outbound links carry affiliate tags and we may earn a commission if you buy, at no extra cost to you. This does not affect the price you pay. See our Privacy Policy for detail.

Subscriptions and Plannli Pro

Some Plannli features require a paid Plannli Pro subscription. The price, billing period, trial period — if any — and features included will be shown before you subscribe.

Subscriptions purchased through the mobile app are billed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. Subscriptions purchased through our website are managed through RevenueCat and payments are processed by Stripe. Your purchase is also subject to the applicable payment platform’s terms.

Unless stated otherwise before purchase, subscriptions automatically renew for the same billing period until cancelled. The renewal price and date will be shown before purchase and are available through the relevant subscription-management service. We or the subscription platform may send service messages about your subscription, including purchase confirmations, successful renewals, payment problems, cancellations and price changes. We will provide any advance notices required by applicable law.

You can cancel at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals, and you will normally retain access until the end of the period already paid for. Apple subscriptions must be cancelled through Apple, Google Play subscriptions through Google Play, and web subscriptions through the management link in web Settings or your payment receipt. You may also contact hello@plannli.com if you cannot access those controls.

A free trial, where offered, will convert into a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends. The trial length, price after the trial and renewal terms will be shown before you confirm the subscription. If you cancel during a free trial, access to paid features may end immediately or at the end of the trial, depending on the platform’s rules.

If you purchase through our website, you may cancel within 14 days of starting the subscription. If a payment has already been taken during that period, contact hello@plannli.com for a full refund. This information is also provided at checkout and in your confirmation email, and does not affect any other statutory rights you may have.

Refund requests for Apple or Google Play purchases are handled by the relevant store under its policies. Refunds for web purchases are handled by us and our payment providers in accordance with applicable law.

We may change subscription prices, but changes will apply only as permitted by the subscription platform and applicable law. We will provide advance notice or obtain agreement where required.

Deleting your Plannli account does not automatically cancel a subscription.

Availability and changes

We may update Plannli to improve functionality, security or compatibility, or to comply with legal or technical requirements. We may also change or discontinue individual features. We will not make changes that materially reduce the core paid service during a paid subscription period without a valid reason and, where appropriate, reasonable notice or a suitable remedy. We aim to keep Plannli available but don’t guarantee uninterrupted service.

Disclaimers

Plannli is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We don’t warrant that product data or prices are accurate or that the service will be error-free.

Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights where Plannli is not provided with reasonable care and skill, does not match its description, or is otherwise faulty under applicable consumer law.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or your statutory consumer rights.

Plannli is intended for personal planning and is not financial, purchasing or professional advice. We are not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate retailer information where we have taken reasonable care, decisions you make based on third-party product information, or events outside our reasonable control.

Where permitted by law, we are not liable for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was entered into. We do not exclude liability for losses that are a foreseeable result of our breach or failure to use reasonable care and skill.

Events outside our control

We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as widespread internet outages, app-store failures, hosting outages, cyberattacks or changes made by third-party platforms. This does not affect rights you may have under consumer law.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using Plannli and delete your account at any time. Before deleting your account, you should export any information you wish to keep — account deletion is permanent, subject to the limited backup and legal-retention periods described in our Privacy Policy. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active subscription — cancel it through the platform where it was purchased, as described above and in the app, web Settings and our Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially or repeatedly breach these terms, use Plannli unlawfully, create a security risk, or fail to pay applicable fees. Where reasonably possible, we will explain the issue and give you an opportunity to correct it before termination. We may act immediately where necessary to protect users, Plannli or third parties.

If we permanently discontinue Plannli Pro during a period you have paid for, we will provide any refund or other remedy required by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer living elsewhere, you also retain the protection of any mandatory laws and courts that apply in your country of residence.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; we’ll change the “last updated” date and, for material changes, notify you in the app.
